The first match of the two-Test series between India and Sri Lanka will be played at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali from March 4. PCA treasurer RP Sinola told PTI, “BCCI has asked us to allow 50 percent spectators of the stadium’s capacity during the upcoming Test match.” At the same time, BCCI secretary Jay Shah said in a statement, ‘The first Test match between India and Sri Lanka to be held in Mohali will not be played in an empty stadium.’
