Hardik Pandya is not included in Baroda’s Ranji Trophy squad.

Hardik Pandya, an all-rounder, will miss the Ranji Trophy, which begins on February 10, to focus on his India comeback in white-ball cricket. On Monday, Kedar Deodhar has been named captain of the Baroda team for the Ranji Trophy. Vishnu Solanki, on the other hand, has been named vice-captain. The Baroda Cricket Association released a 20-member squad ahead of the first leg of the event. The squad list, however, does not include Hardik. On the other hand, his brother Krunal Pandya is a member of the squad.

Hardik has been out of action since the T20 World Cup last year, making him unavailable for national selection owing to a back issue that requires more rehabilitation. Hardik Pandya is working on his fitness and attempting to bowl once more. Hardik Pandya hasn’t played red ball cricket since December 2018 and has previously stated that injuries have hampered his chances in the game’s longest format.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya has been named captain of the Ahmedabad club in the Indian Premier League, and he has been signed for Rs 15 crore.

In a recent interview, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly made a statement regarding Hardik Pandya. Hardik Pandya was injured, according to Sourav Ganguly, and was granted a break so that he could make a thorough recovery. I believe he will participate in the Ranji Trophy, and I would like to see him bowl more so that his physique is strong.

Due to the Corona problem, the Ranji Trophy was postponed for a while, but now that the cases of corona have decreased, a new schedule has been released, and it will begin on February 10th.

Baroda Squad for Ranji Trophy: Kedar Dhevdhar, Vishnu Solanki, Pratyush Kumar, Shivalik Sharma, Krunal Pandya, Abhimanyusingh Rajput, Dhruv Patel, Mitesh Patel, Lukman Meriwala, Babasafikhan Pathan (wk.), Atit Sheth, Bhargav Bhatt, Parth Kohli, Shashwat Rawat, Soyeb Sopariya, Kartik Kakade, Gurjindersingh Mann, Jyotsnil Singh, Ninad Rathwa, Akshay More.
