How will Shreyas Iyer react when he meets Shahrukh Khan?

Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Shreyas Iyer shares what his reaction would be on meeting Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan is the co owner of KKR.

Shahrukh Khan owns Red Chillies entertainment who along with the Mehta Group owns the Kolkata Knight Riders Franchise.

The superstar is also the face of the franchise and has fans all over the world.

Shreyas Iyer is one of them. He said that he will “go crazy” the moment he meets the iconic actor.

Shreyas Iyer was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders at the IPL Mega Auction for a whopping sum of INR 12.5 Crores. The Indian international cricketer has been given the responsibility of leading the side to a 3rd IPL title.

In an interiew, Shreyas Iyer revealed that “”I have not interacted with Shahrukh Khan. I am really looking forward to that moment because he has always been one of the motivating factors to me especially. Because whenever I get a break or during free time, I love to see his interviews and I love to see the spark which he brings to the industry”.

The player also stated that he has taken inspiration from the blockbuster film “Chak De India” where Shahrukh Khan played the role of a coach and helped his women’s hockey team win the world cup.

Shreyas Iyer further stated that “Whenever he is there present at the stadium the support that he offers to the team is simply outstanding. I am really eager and just waiting, counting on the time. Whenever I get that opportunity to meet him, I will go a bit crazy I feel”

KKR begin their Tata IPL 2022 journey on the 26th of March when they take on defending champions Chennai Super Kings.
