India announces its 25 member squad for the upcoming matches
Today, India announced its 25 member squad for the upcoming international friendlies. They take on Bahrain and Belarus.
India’ football coach Igor Stimac had announced a 38 man squad who were training in Pune since March 10. Today, 25 off them have been selected.
Out of those, 25 have been selected . They will fly to Bahrain where they take on the home team and then Belarus.
The Blue Tigers will face the hosts, Bahrain on the 23rd of March. 3 days later they take on the Belarus football team.
Both matches are set to kick of at 9:30 pm IST.
The two friendlies act as a part of the preparation for AFC Asia Cup qualifiers, 2023. The qualifiers begin from June, this year.
The qualifier matches for India will be held in Kolkata, beginning June 8.
They are in the group of Afghanistan, Hong Kong and Cambodia. They are placed in Group D.

Defenders – Pritam Kotal, Seriton Fernandes, Rahul Bheke,
