India Cements Pro League : Launched Date Revealed– India Cements Limited is a cement manufacturing company in India. They announced on Wednesday about a special cricket tournament which will be conducted by them.

What is the Title for this League?

This league has been named as the “India Cements Pro League(ICPL) and will be launched on December 17^th 2022.

This occasion is a perfect place for the hundreds of certified registered civil engineers in Tamil Nadu to express their talent in their favorite sport.

The ICPL will begin with 48 teams playing in various district grounds throughout Tamil Nadu, with the final being hosted in Chennai.

Match Locations:

Coimbatore, Salem, Trichy, Madurai, Vellore, Tiruvarur, Pudukkottai, and Tirunelveli will host the tournament’s first phase.

On January 28 and 29, 2023, Chennai will host the final round that includes stages like the Quarterfinal, Semifinal and also the Finals.

This is for the winners from eight district grounds to identify the overall king. Participants in the competition will only be civil engineers who have been invited.

Format:

The Phase 1 competition will follow the following format:

• A league-cum-knockout format will be used for the event, which will feature a total of 56 games.
• First Phase: December 17, 2022, until January 8, 2023, happening at a number of districts in Tamil Nadu;
• There are eight groups, each containing six teams;
• There will be two league games each team;
• There will be 1 winner from each category declared;

The Phase 2 of the Competition will be held under flood lights .

Special Details to be noted:

All matches will be played with a tennis ball and Winners and runners-up will be awarded with a trophy.

Jersey and Trophy Revealed:

At a ceremony on Wednesday, cricketer T Natarajan was present alongside India Cements Ltd. chief marketing officer Parthasarathy Ramanujam and other prominent business persons to unveil the ICPL trophy and the unique jersey.

The Finals:

The Finals is scheduled to be held in Chennai on January 28th and 29th 2023. There is no entry free for this event as well.
