Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif has shared his thoughts on the upcoming IPL 2025 season. He believes that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) should try to bring in Rohit Sharma as their captain. Kaif suggested that if Mumbai Indians (MI) do not retain Rohit, RCB should offer him the captaincy role. Why Kaif Wants Rohit to Lead Again

“Rohit is a great captain who knows how to build a winning team. If RCB can get him, they should make him their captain,” Kaif said in an interview with Star Sports.

Rohit’s future with Mumbai Indians is not clear. In 2024, Mumbai surprised everyone by removing him as captain and handing the role to Hardik Pandya, who was traded from Gujarat Titans.
