Maaya Rajeshwaran will compete in the U-14 Australian Open event in 2023: Maaya Rajeshwaran the Tennis champ is growing. Her shots are accurate, and her career graph is rising. The developing youngster has strong strokes that are accompanied by an attacking game style.

The Australian Open organizers have extended an invitation to the national under-14 clay and under-16 hard court champion to compete in a tournament for under-14s in Melbourne in January 2023.

What is this event all about?

Young athletes from various nations are invited to Melbourne by the Australian Open organisers each year to experience a Grand Slam event without actually playing in a competition.

Only 16 players in all, eight boys and eight girls, are invited. Five of Asia’s top under-14 athletes are included in this group, along with one representative from each of Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Oceania.

Rajeshwaran, Maaya’s father, was her inspiration, she claimed in her recent interview. She continued by saying that Manoj Kumar, her coach at the Pro Serve Tennis Academy, has been crucial to her growth.

The Coimbatore girl said,

“Arnav Paparkar from Pune has been selected with me to journey to Australia. I am very excited to be going to Australia. I want to focus on my game and give out my best. My fitness is one of my strengths since the rallies are long on clay court.”

It is said that Maaya’s consistent performance in the Asian junior circuit has come in her aid to receive an invitation to this grand event which will help her set a benchmark in her career.

A quarterfinal showing at the Gadre Marine ITF Grade 3 (Under-18) junior tennis champion tennis championships would seem to be another significant accomplishment for Maaya in what appears to be a promising career.

Maaya already had accomplished so much the season that had just happened.
