Midfielder Gaurav Chadha will lead Delhi team for North Zone qualifiers in 75th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2021-22 to be held in New Delhi, starting from 1 December 2021.
Football Delhi selection committee named the squad of 22 players after 2 months long training camp held in Delhi.
Delhi has been placed in Group B with Punjab, Uttarakhand and Haryana. Delhi will start campaign from 1st December against Uttarakhand.
Goalkeepers: Avijit Devnath and Sayak Barai;
Defenders: Milind Negi, Neeraj Bhandari, Nitesh Chikara, Rahul Aswal, Rakshit Rawat and Rithwik Anand;
Midfielders: Gaurav Chadha (C), Gaurav Rawat, Karthik Panicker, Krishan Kumar, Mahip Adhikari, Md Shahjahan, Rinreithan Shaiza, Rishabh Dobriyal, Sakti Nath Oraon and Biaklian Paite;
Officials: Vikash Rawat (Head Coach), Md Imran (Asst Coach), Fiazan Ahmed (Team Physiotherapist) and Magan Singh Patwal (Manager)
