Cognizant of the impact this carnival can have, Ms. Madhurimaraje Chhatrapati said, “Being a mother myself and a strong advocate of gender-inclusive participation, I am very pleased to be attending this event. Football has the power to initiate positive change and upon interacting with the various mothers here, I am convinced that they’re realizing the potential this game has in bridging gender disparity.”
An integral part of the carnival was a quiz on women’s football and the pioneering achievements of women in society. This served as an eye-opener to the mothers who realized the importance women have always held in society while also understanding the need of educating their sons and daughters about equality.
