In the 3rd T20I between West Indies and Pakistan at Karachi fans are coaxed that youngsters Mohammad Hasnain and Iftikhar Ahmed have recreated seniors Ajmal-Malik’s hilarious catch-drop moment.
Pakistan on Thursday makes a record chase in the third T20I to clean sweeping the touring West Indies squad by 3-0. Directed by the tough opening pair of Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam, Pakistan hunted down a huge total of 207 runs in just 18.5 overs. However, despite the existence of some world-class batsmen and bowlers in Pakistan, they still confirmed, yet again, how fielding stays their weakness.
The West Indies batsmen miss-timed the shot, and the ball soared up into the sky, straight to Hasnain and Iftikhar, who were staying to catch the ball at long-on. Yet, neither of them grabs the ball, which falls to the field as both players stare at each other, indicating that the catch was theirs to take.
The whole moment reminded fans of the earlier event of similar accidents which got Pakistan’s wretched fielding to the limelight.
