Rishabh Pant to Stay with Delhi Capitals for IPL 2025: Rumors of Chennai Super Kings Move Quashed
Rishabh Pant is confirmed to remain with Delhi Capitals for IPL 2025, putting to rest all rumors about him joining Chennai Super Kings for the upcoming season. This development was confirmed after Pant and DC Co-owner Parth Jindal held a meeting in Mumbai.
Pant returned to competitive cricket during IPL 2024, where he led Delhi Capitals after missing the 2023 season. Despite a strong campaign, DC finished 6th on the points table, narrowly missing out on the playoffs due to an inferior net run rate.
With a new coach and management in place, Delhi Capitals are focused on retaining their core group of players, including Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jake Fraser McGurk, and Tristan Stubbs, as they build for a stronger IPL 2025 campaign.
