Sai Sudharsan hits a massive Ton again!

Sai Sudharsan hits a massive Ton again!: Sai Sudharsan, a left-hander with all the proper skills, scored a beautiful, easy-going 113 (180b, 10×4) against Andhra on day two of the Ranji Trophy match at the Ramakrishna College venue in the Coimbatore city on Wednesday  after dismissing Andhra for 297 in the first session, ended Day at 273/4.

This great innings of Sudharsan is definitely a follow up of his 179 on debut for Tamil Nadu against Hyderabad.

Nobody in the team setup has been overly surprised by these hundreds. The fact that he lost the chance to recording a 150+ score, if anything, the only source of disappointment for a few players.

There is a basis for these expectations. He scored 358 runs in eight innings to conclude the inaugural Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) season he participated in in 2021 as the second-highest run scorer, earning him five appearances for Gujarat Titans.

He is already well-liked in a youthful Tamil Nadu team and is expected to carry on the batting heritage of some notable players who have worn the state cap.

Sai’s Partnership Magic:

Sudharsan, the opener, took shape. Before attempting to steal seamer K.V. Sasikanth, his partner, the in-form N. Jagadeesan, delivered a couple strong strokes in his 35 (37b, 5×4).As usual, Sudharsan was in complete command of his actions. Getting things started with a 65-run partnership for the first wicket with Jagadeesan.

Aparajith (88, 193b, 7×4, 2×6) produced some heavy strokes and hustled hard between wickets while the agile Sai controlled the ball on both sides, sending fielders on the hunt. Following that, Sudharsan and Baba Aparajith contributed 163 runs in 286 balls for the second wicket. This was a hilarious partnership of various strokes by different men.

Sai Sudharsan is naturally talented. His glistering qualities are reflected in his comfort in picking the length, balance, a calm head in both offence and defence, decisive footwork, and the way he coaxes the ball through the gaps.

Looks like this player would become the face of Tamil Nadu’s Cricket Soon!
