Sergio Perez pens a contract extension with Red Bull
After his win in the Monaco Grand Prix, Sergio Perez shared a tweet, stating his contract extension that will keep him at Red Bull till 2024.
There had been rumours that Sergio Perez had signed a deal over the weekend, which were later confirmed by Perez himself.
Perez and Verstappen have formed an amazing partnership, with the former playing a crucial role in Verstappen’s World Championship win.
The Mexican held off Lewis Hamilton long enough, before Verstappen won the last race and the championship, albeit under controversial circumstances.

Currently, Max Verstappen leads the World Championship, having scored 125 points. Perez is in 3rd, 15 points behind his teammate.
The two are separated by Charles Leclerc, who’s scored 116 points for the Scuderia Ferrari.
