Sri Lanka have qualified for Super 4 of Asia Cup 2022

Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by two wickets in the last match of Group B. Batting first after losing the toss, Bangladesh scored 183 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Afif Hossain scored the most runs for Bangladesh. He played an innings of 39 runs. In reply, Sri Lanka achieved the target in 19.2 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Kusal Mendis scored 60 runs in 37 balls for Sri Lanka. At the same time, captain Dasun Shanaka scored 45 runs in 33 balls.

With this win, Sri Lanka have qualified for Super-4. At the same time, Bangladesh team has become the first team to be out of the Asia Cup. Now three teams of Super-4 have been found. India has qualified from Group A before Sri Lanka. At the same time, both the teams have got from Group B. Afghanistan and Sri Lanka qualified for Super-4 from Group B. The second team of Group A will meet on Friday. The match between Pakistan and Hong Kong will be played on Friday.

At the same time, in Super-4, all the four teams will play each other once. The match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will be played on September 3. The Indian team will take on Afghanistan on September 6 and Sri Lanka on September 8.
